Title: Mandelbulber 2.06 Animation Questions
Post by: Phil J on April 21, 2016, 09:06:15 PM
I've got a zoomed out fractal created and have the animation dock open.  I see the controls to add/delete/modify/insert keyframes along with frames per keyframe.
What is a typical value for frames per keyframe?  The defautl 0f 100 seems a bit high...?
What constitutes a "frame" and how do I know that I have recorded a single frame or series of frames?

confused...

thanks

Phil J.

Keyframe values vary depending on what you are doing. I have used it at 100  but more often 15, 25,30 and render a low resolution  folder of .pngs and make a draft video.  Then maybe increase the "frames per keyframe" when  I do the final high resolution render, aiming for 30 - 60 frames per second.

In mandelbulber you see keyframes in the table in animation dock.. The additional frames you only see in the output folder after rendering .
