Title: How Do I Render HD Videos Post by: Madwerks on February 26, 2016, 06:17:44 PM I'm having difficulty making HD videos because all the images come out with a resolution of 72 pixels/inch. I was wondering how I can make a nice video that I can full screen or blow up and not have it all pixelated looking! Please help and thank you for your comments!

Title: Re: How Do I Render HD Videos Post by: red_planet on March 03, 2016, 03:24:50 PM As long as you render your frames at a size of 1920 * 1080 pixels then you should be good to go.
The 72 dpi is an arbitrary parameter and was used when that was the average resolution of monitors. The DPI is "dots per inch", or in the case of monitors pixels per inch. Modern display panels can greatly exceed that resolution but most are usually something like 96-120 dpi. "Retina" and 4K displays have a much higher "dot pitch" and approach the resolution of printers at 300dpi or more. Hope this helps Chris Title: Re: How Do I Render HD Videos Post by: Madwerks on April 24, 2016, 05:32:55 PM It does thank you, but if I want to project videos onto a wall or screen using a projector will it still look as sharp and clear?
Title: Re: How Do I Render HD Videos Post by: monstercolorfun on November 22, 2017, 12:00:27 AM I bought a projector recently, and I found a huge white melaminate cubpoard backing recycled from the street for the screen which is very reflective... I have to say 3d fractals are the most amazing thing to see in large panoramas, they take on a completely new life... whereas on the 24 inch monitor they look flat and CG style, on the wall at 3 meters size, It feels like being on a spaceship, the depth perception is amazing, it's less flat than on a monitor. I got a projector with integrated android and I have a mouse and keyboard for surfing YT visualizations, it's only 800x480 pixels, and 2000 lumens so only viewable in the dark, but the image is absolutely mindblowing. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/112500386130 |
