Title: Draak: an interactive fractal app for iOS - try it for free
Post by: hansiehans on February 26, 2016, 01:27:24 AM
Hi fellow fractal friends,

Over the past months I have been working on a hobby project that resulted in an app named Draak (Dutch for Dragon).

By sliding the controls with your fingertips the app generates IFS fractals in real time. Not only famous fractals like the (golden) dragon curve, twin dragon, the koch curve and sierpinsky triangle & pentagon can be generated (if you know where to find them :), but also numerous unnamed, but equally beautiful patterns can be found.

Of course you can save and share your creations in the app. Switching between saved fractals is done with sweet animations in real time.

See below some images generated by the app to give you an idea of what to expect. There's a couple more on: https://draak.wordpress.com  (https://draak.wordpress.com)

The app itself can be found here: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/draak/id1076188456. It is a paid app, but I'll provide access to the users of this forum. PM me to get a free copy.

I plan to update the app based on your feedback and suggestion, so please let me know what you think!

Thanks and enjoy!
