Title: MMY3D Post by: Kalles Fraktaler on January 23, 2016, 10:41:23 PM Mandelbrot bubbles
https://youtu.be/31dBO57EkAg My french cyber-friend Yann sent me a piece of awesome c++ code. I modified it slightly and flipped the signs of the iterations and made this cool movie. Music by Chillheimer. Title: Re: MMY3D Post by: Chillheimer on January 24, 2016, 01:07:41 PM Wow. That was ccol and different. Love the 3d Tunnel effect around 4minutes.
So this is the mset? Why does it look so different? Title: Re: MMY3D Post by: Kalles Fraktaler on January 24, 2016, 03:06:51 PM The frames were rendered with only imaginary values for bailout. That's what makes the balloons/bubbles, and it's awesome to finally see them in 3D :)

However there are some inference noise https://www.youtube.com/v/N-0DfD92umo Title: Re: MMY3D Post by: Chillheimer on March 02, 2016, 09:23:48 AM hey kalle!
I'm having a hard time finding working parameters for the 3d effect.. would you mind sharing a screenshot of the settings for https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LHoJxr1qQC0 at around 1:30 min? also: I remember saving my first try, it still is accessible in the file menue as recent 'project'. but I don't find the 'save' function anywhere.. has it gone lost? Title: Re: MMY3D Post by: Kalles Fraktaler on March 12, 2016, 10:12:59 AM hey kalle! Hello Chillheimer. Sorry I missed your post. Unfortunately I didn't store the settings for this movie. Parameters are stored automatically in the directory with kfs extensions. These skew animated movies I make are divided in 3 parts. The first part needs to go 3 key frames deeper than where it stops, because mmy3d always use 4 key frames. Title: Re: MMY3D Post by: Dinkydau on March 21, 2016, 06:24:07 AM This is really cool.
Title: Re: MMY3D Post by: Kalles Fraktaler on March 26, 2016, 12:04:22 PM This is really cool. ThanksHere is a short julia-morphing. It takes some hour to render the key frames and more than a day to render the 3D movie. :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RNUOW0tvuYc I am working with perspective, which is surprisingly difficult http://www.slideshare.net/fullscreen/ijcsa/automatic-rectification-of-perspective-distortion-from-a-single-image-using-plane-homography/1 Title: Re: MMY3D Post by: Kalles Fraktaler on April 09, 2016, 06:17:40 PM And finally I got the surprisingly difficult perspective working, which is necessary with tile texture
