Title: version 1.9 adding new fractals Post by: Parker on January 23, 2016, 03:28:07 AM I just downloaded 1.9 version and I cannot figure out how to add new fractals. The tutorials I have watched use an older version with folders in upper left window. 1.9 version does not have these folders. New to this Software and stumbling. All that shows up is the first bulb. Help please

You should be able to follow the 1.89 tutorials and where it mentions a button, you should be able to see the same in 1.9 (as text) near the same place in the screen. Help please Hey Parker, you might need to open (with notepad) the Mandelbulb3d.ini file that is located in your Mandelbulb3d folder. It should have something similar to the following in the top of the file: Code: C:\DEV\Delphi_Workspace\Mandelbulb3Dv190\ The paths aren't set up right... so you need to set it correctly (this is for my computer... yours will be different): Code: C:\Documents and Settings\mememe\Desktop\Mandelbulb3Dv189\ You need the various paths to be set correctly- so look for all the DEV\Delphi.... and change them to the correct folder location. If you need more help figuring out how to set up the paths, someone will be around. If you're realllly lucky, someone snarky will help you. |
