Title: Still using structure synth for houses
Post by: barcud on January 15, 2016, 01:07:03 PM
Here is a sunflow render of a structure synth house - and yes - I am still using structure synth  :D

Looks good, is it related to these works and tutorials?

No, I know the tutorials by tatasz but they dont really get close to the images posted by Pasternak.
As far as I am aware all those are made by subdivision whereas my "process" is more building "up" from small parts to bigger ones.
I haven't achieved that look (yet?) - still meddling in a different directions.

Pasternak is indeed a SSynth legend, we did a collab (http://lyc.deviantart.com/art/plexiglass-palace-286828094) some years ago.

Really looking forward to more ssynth works, in my opinion one of the most under-used 3D fractal tools! Great work :)

It would be funny if it turns out that they actually turn out to be exceptionally stable and efficient to build IRL....
