Title: 360 Virtual Reality Video with Mandlebulb 3D
Post by: FractalVR on December 24, 2015, 08:33:30 AM
Hello folks, I am new to the forum, and new to mandlebulb 3d so bear with me.

I have seen 360 degree videos on YouTube of mandlebulb 3d fractals. I am wondering the steps of going about this. People are saying to click the "panorama" button in the camera inside of the 3d calculator. I have done so, created images, then used them as frames for a video. The video is not 360 degrees. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qpESAESGzbA

How do I create videos like this with mandlebulb 3d or other free software? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EWlhyiyduxU

You have to "inject" the 360° metadata information into the MP4 before uploading:

For a test simply download the MP4 from your youtube video at the video manager (correct MP4 format), inject the metadata via the metadata tool (see link above) and reupload it to youtube. No special tags are needed.

Thanks for that! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nQLl9tOqzro&feature=youtu.be

Will post an update of my first 360 fractal video.
