Here's a project that took most of this year to render. 2 x aliasing and reflections were necessary for what I was after so that really upped the processing time! 99% of the content is straight from Mandelbulb3d. Post work (colour/flares/DOF/editing) done in AE. I'm glad this is over, and my desktop machine sure needs a break! Needless to say, hit fullscreen and HD (or goto vimeo if HD doesn't show). It was one of those projects where you start and think.....yeah.... maybe a month and I'll be done.... which then becomes 3...6...and then you kind of forget everything else that's going on! Once I saw how nice it could look rendering at 2x1920x810 I couldn't do it any other way! If only I had a render farm for the next one ...... :)
