The groups of bright points in the green regions (period 14) give away that the system has a total of four critical values, and thus four preimages of everything. One of the critical values is uninteresting to study unless d is nonzero, however, so when d = 0 there are a maximum of three attractors in this system. The long calculation time despite low iters is due to the very aggressive anti-aliasing required to do justice to the centers of the purple flowers.
