"MRI (Mathematically Reconstructed Imaging)"
Oil on Canvas 10"x12" July 26, 2015
Mathematics, and fractals in particular, have the capability of imaging most anything in nature, man made, or in this case, a medical image. The brain slice is meticulously reconstructed including both thought patterns and neural activity. It also depicts the joy of finding that a misdiagnosis has been made on a tumor for me. Check out the images full description with fractal laden actual MRI footage I did for my fractal talk at Washington and Lee University. Flame fractals from JWildfire
