Title: five minute Phoenix Nova
Post by: bradorpoints on October 25, 2006, 07:11:51 AM
No zooming, filters or layering- only basic parameter morphing.  I call it "bleeding star".

almost 30 MB, but it does stream

It is really an amazing animation. I like the central place of the Flower very much.

glad you liked it.  It is the result of an animtion created by Mark Brennan a few years ago, but suffered from being zoomed in too far during violent changes.  I took his starting point and went from there using Chaos Pro, being mindfull to not zoom in.  Most frames rendered at ~40 minutes with the exception of the frames with the zero area - those took almost three hours to generate.

Yup...

I need to play more with Chaos Pro.

That Far Surpassed anything I've been able to make yet!

Well done to both you and the original creator!

thanks for the plus comments.

The music was composed by Daniel Applegate and he calls it "5:00 AM".  The name came about the morning he couldn't sleep and was up all night - and blurted out that piece of music for the hell of it.
