Title: Cubic Partial Burning Ship Imaginary Post by: Kalles Fraktaler on June 12, 2015, 05:42:42 PM I want to present the first deep zoom I've made into the Cubic Partial Burning Ship Imaginary fractal.
This fractal has some really interesting structures and charcters. Starring: The ghost: (http://www.chillheimer.de/kallesfraktaler/cubicPBSI/ghost.jpg) The octopus baby: (http://www.chillheimer.de/kallesfraktaler/cubicPBSI/baby_octopus.jpg) Since we are all waiting for SW7, here is Jabba: (http://www.chillheimer.de/kallesfraktaler/cubicPBSI/jabba.jpg) And for the first time, his beautiful girl fried: (http://www.chillheimer.de/kallesfraktaler/cubicPBSI/jabba_gf.jpg) Her beautiful eyelashes can get every man's heart beat double blows: (http://www.chillheimer.de/kallesfraktaler/cubicPBSI/pretty_girl.jpg) Watch it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eq8jzad24nQ Title: Re: Cubic Partial Burning Ship Imaginary Post by: Chillheimer on June 12, 2015, 07:51:16 PM wow, very nice! I obviously need to take a closer look into that formula! :)
would you mind sharing the palette? I love the "black light" feel of it and would like to see how you achieved it.. Title: Re: Cubic Partial Burning Ship Imaginary Post by: Kalles Fraktaler on June 12, 2015, 08:06:10 PM Thanks.
It needs a good stretch to reveal the interesting stuff. I'm using "infinite waves", (sine waves on HSB colors) H 11 H 19 S -60 (meaning static 60%) B 5 And a color division some 4-5 I don't remember the exact value. Title: Re: Cubic Partial Burning Ship Imaginary Post by: youhn on June 16, 2015, 05:00:40 PM Totally missed this one ... but it's a wonderful mix of shapes, a little familiar but totally new anyway. Those oldschool colorbands really work. It's all like a moving fluidlike psychedelic oil painting.
