Title: Hi there Post by: Dodonaea on May 25, 2015, 04:11:32 PM Hi all. What a great website! Very happy to have come across it, clearly there’s a lot of knowledge and talent residing here.
I’m actually a landscape architect in the process of teaching myself to code in various languages - architectural design is moving more and more toward algorithmic processes and in my view fractal-like forms have great potential in the architectural world as 3D printing comes of age. So I guess I’m interested not just in the artistic side of things but also the potential ultimately to translate mathematical forms into useable objects. Anyway nice to be on board, apologies in advance for any newbie questions. Title: Re: Hi there Post by: Sockratease on May 25, 2015, 04:19:46 PM Hi all. What a great website! Have fun and feel free to ask anything. We have members of all levels of understanding here, and all have questions - the only way to get answers is to ask :educated: EDIT - Our Annual Contest entry period ends soon - why not throw something in the mix, just for fun?
