Title: Batch Rendering Or Other Folder Handling Ideas Post by: Sockratease on April 30, 2015, 11:19:46 PM When better to make a feature request than the first day of our Annual Contest? I was looking at large folders of old parameters with no images and wanting to do something, but just don't have all the patience needed! Is it complicated to make a batch renderer for MB3D? Other ideas would be a simple (?) "open each m3p/i file in a folder, then resave with preview" thingy. Then we could actually get use of some of these things and maybe find some old gems much easier. Yet another, possibly simpler (?) idea would be to open each file in (alphabetical?) order, then make an animation frame from it, and repeat. Saving the m3a at the end could even be optional in that case. Just thinking. Some of these folders have hundreds of parameter sets and I'd love to be able to automate even a low quality preview of them all without the tedium of doing it one at a time. Thanks for considering the idea and good luck in the contest, everybody! |
