Title: Mandelbulb won't render animation? (fixed!) Post by: col on April 30, 2015, 06:23:40 PM Can anyone tell me what's wrong with my settings since MB won't output anything in the folder when I press render animation? It just "renders" for a few seconds and after that the folder is empty.

Nothing looks wrong with the settings. Except choosing bmp as a format, but that is just taste (png is lossless and has much better compression), It looks like the screenshot shows it is still rendering when it was taken. Does the main window show any render time remaining? It usually wants more than "a few seconds" to make even the first frame. One possibility is that the output folder was moved or renamed, but you would probably have noticed that right away. If all else fails, I'd suggest saving the m3a file and rebooting - then try again. If that fails, post the m3a file here and maybe somebody can find the problem. Good luck with it! Title: Re: Mandelbulb won't render animation? Yeah I took the screenshot to show that it has already "rendered" 79 frames in 4 seconds. It completes the render in 9 seconds for all of the frames and nothing shows in the folder. Title: Re: Mandelbulb won't render animation? Post by: col on April 30, 2015, 11:49:44 PM I tried rebooting the program and loading the m3a file, still the same problem. It flies through the render in a few seconds and outputs nothing. The animation shows like it should when viewing it on the preview window. Edit: Fixed, I tried creating a new output folder that's not on the desktop and now it works like it should. |
