Title: Shattering a cd by spinning

Just a simple example I found:

This creates a tree-like shape. Because it shatters at one certain point. Would It be possible to have it break at more points to make a different pattern?

indeed quite interesting, those slomo guy are totally cool ;)
the branching pattern is quite interesting, and the deforming behaviour is interesting as well, the deformation staying at the same place all the time ...
