Although the seed file was saved from 4.2.1 I loaded it into the development version of Titan, its parameters are treated differently. The Titan 4.2.1 summary is shown below: (https://copy.com/0hTiCM3bDepjjJok) Note the difference in the value of alpha, the handling of parameters has changed: instead of just allowing substitution with the positive or negative locations in the complex plane (c or -c) parameters can be modified by multiplying or dividing by c. The new scheme allows a much greater set of values to be used for example (0.5 + 0i)*c is now possible. The software makes use of unicode to display multiplication or division symbols. For your convenience I've attached the parameter file, the .spf file type is not allowed so I added .xml to the file name, remove the .xml extension from the file name before attempting to drop the file onto Saturn's main window (or using the Open... menu option). Just confused me that "location in the complex plane" can not be disabled completely. I did a project on the resulted screenshot, and I got too. But the bad thing is that titan in the information does not display the names of gradients. It would be good in a new version to eliminate this drawback. If none of the parameters are "location in the complex place" the resulting fractal sets z0 to location in complex plane because it switches to the Julia algorithm. If understand you correctly "disabling location in the complex completely" means that z0 and and all parameters are not set to the +ve/-ve location in the complex then reason is that you'll only ever get a uniformly coloured rectangle. I can add the names of the colour maps to the summary. In addition I can display the colour maps underneath the summary. It is possible that the name of a colour map in the seed file may differ from the name of the map currently loaded in Saturn. |
