Title: 2d circle intersection fractal... Post by: Chris Thomasson on March 02, 2015, 12:06:08 AM Here is a simple animation of a circle intersection fractal I discovered. Roger Bagula gave the fractal a title of “Thomasson's Turbulent Ring's”. This also has animated field lines down to a recursion level of five.
Anyway, here is a YouTube link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=poXeq5V0dso (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=poXeq5V0dso) Sorry for no music. I am thinking about making some for myself. ;^) Title: Re: 2d circle intersection fractal... Post by: Chris Thomasson on March 02, 2015, 12:07:26 AM It seems as if YouTube degraded the quality of the original video.
Sorry about that! ;^( Title: Re: 2d circle intersection fractal... Post by: cKleinhuis on March 02, 2015, 12:15:08 AM 1080p looks fine, method looks fine as well, reminds me of intertweening trees ;)

WRT the quality, AFAICT, I can only view this in 720p because I am not using the flash version of YouTube. The HTML5 video player seems to want to limit the resolution. Humm... There is no option for 1080p for me: DAMN! ;^o Title: Re: 2d circle intersection fractal... Try looking at your video in full screen mode - you should get the higher resolution option then. If you're viewing it as a small video on a page filled with the sidebar of related videos, comments below the video, etc, then YouTube won't give you a 1080p option because the video is too small to use that much resolution.
