Title: Flat surfaces

Mandel machine, mandelbrot set

Here is an S containing connected flat surfaces that contain finite spirals. This is essentially the same as Mandelbrot extremism (http://dinkydauset.deviantart.com/art/Mandelbrot-extremism-453112933) except it doesn't contain any special morphings. The zoom depth is relatively low because the flat surfaces are simple. With extreme patience this could possibly have been done before perturbation.

Very nice work! So, you have explored it in Fractal eXtreme far time ago? This 'S' looks like a higher order (maybe 4-5).

thank you
This was zoomed to in mandel machine. Most of the things I render now are impossible/undoable with fractal extreme, but this one could have been doable.

It's still low relatively because "Mandelbrot extremism", which I compared it to, is at a depth of 2^3086.5 while that one has one morphing less. That means sacrificing the complexity of the shapes used reduces the required depth a lot.

Eventually we will get used to zoom depths in the thousands, I think.
