Then of course, the shape of which the evolution is shown, can be an evolution set itself. This render shows the evolution of two evolution sets: 1. a trivial julia set evolution 2. evolution of trees and evolution of another weird shape in parallel This can be interpreted as having (potentially) 4 different shapes and thus an alternative for "regular" 4th order evolution.
