Title: Golden Gates - Mandelbulb 3D Fractal animation in Full HD 1080p
Post by: schizo on December 19, 2014, 09:41:35 PM
Heyo,
here my last fractal animation in 2014.
This time in Full HD 1080p  ;D

This animation has 3900 frames and took 20 days to render!
Adjusted parameters for about 70 keyframes to prevent collision, set colors and far plane (hard not to hide the stars).
I did a pseudo aliasing with Irfan View by resampling the Full HD frames to double size and then back to 1920*1080 which created a small blur in both operations.
Had to set the Raystep multiplier to 0.3 and the Stepwidth limiter also to 0.3 to prevent some strange "black slices" that I never had before when rendering animations. That raised quality but also rendering time.

Formulas: a hybrid of two ABoxPlatinum with slightly different parameters. There will be more to come with such "Double Box" hybrids  ;D

Fantastic music: Track "Cellular Memory" by Suduaya. Taken from the eternal psychill EP "Come Back To Life" released 2012 by Uxmal Records. Thank you Louis for permission!

Turn on fullscreen and FullHD!

Thank you mclarekin. Great you love it  ;D

I've uploaded two stills from the animation to the gallery and added the parameters. So you are invited to do your own dive:
