Title: Some new work with mb3d Post by: pulsar69 on December 19, 2014, 05:46:19 AM Here is some interresting picture all created with Mb3d.
The power of texture map: (http://fc03.deviantart.net/fs71/f/2014/347/d/4/engraved_by_pulsar69fr-d89o6ig.jpg) No-transparency : (Reflection+lightmap+2 blue light for glass effect+one top light, but NO-Transparency. (http://fc04.deviantart.net/fs71/i/2014/351/7/0/victorian_precious_by_pulsar69fr-d8a5zjm.jpg) The power of heightmapIfs: In fact MB3d can act like a landscape builder. You need a picture in shade of grey (generally black is level 0 and white maximum height) with the best possible resolution and save it in your map directory with a number. Than use this map number in your heightmapifs formula. Most difficult is to have good colors on this. This is interesting to see the hard shadow looking..(pixel height) (http://fc03.deviantart.net/fs70/f/2014/238/b/0/mask_by_pulsar69fr-d7writ5.jpg) Landscape inspiring: (http://fc06.deviantart.net/fs71/f/2014/340/6/b/mohjave_by_pulsar69fr-d88uvww.jpg) Hope you enjoy those pictures Title: Re: Some new work with mb3d Post by: Dinkydau on December 19, 2014, 10:03:35 AM Look great.
