Title: Cubic Burning Ship with slopes
Post by: Kalles Fraktaler on December 12, 2014, 09:26:46 PM
This movie contains about everything:
* Slope/Bump encoding for 3D effect
* Rendered with key frames:
    - Steady dense areas - no sparkling
    - High anti-alias in the center
* Rotation
    - Synchronized "light angle"
* Color cycling

So I finally succeeded making a perfect movie from key-frames KFB files combined with slopes/bump encoding.
If the proportion of the strength and depth is logarithmic it looks very good.
But the real proportion is linear, which makes it impossible , because either the slope strength soon disappears or get so big the gradient disappears and get only black-and-white.
So the encoding of this movie is pseudo pseudo 3D, not real 3D and not real slopes either.
But I don't care because I think this is incredible appealing.

So expect an update of KFMM soon!
