A new version is available, including two important changes:

• Application state (and full history of changes) is automatically restored when starting after a crash. This will hopefully make life easier. Now it is possible to continue work where it was left off before the crash. The states are saved in a history folder in the application folder in standard .mmf files. The history folder is not purged by default on normal application exits. This can be turned on in the Settings toolbox.
• Calculation of reference orbits is up to 80% faster than before. This can speed up the rendering of deep zoom locations considerably, especially when many small glitches have to be corrected.

I hope that 10,000,000 iterations will not use all my 5GB of RAM =)

A reference orbit with the length of 10,000,000 iterations consumes 1.25 GB in the worst case, when no series approximation is used. On average it should not use more than a few hundred MB.
