Source: http://jeroensnake.deviantart.com/art/Approaching-Logos-483753366 Almost seems like some short brand name, screaming at you for attentention. It really is just a small fragment of the infinite big Burning Ship fractal. Found and rendered with Kalles Fraktaler. See attachted file for location and params (rename to .kfr to open). Title: Re: Approaching Logos Post by: Dinkydau on September 23, 2014, 06:36:10 PM Beautiful render
Title: Re: Approaching Logos Post by: Kalles Fraktaler on September 23, 2014, 08:41:09 PM Beautiful. The burning ship keeps being fascinating and I too keep coming back to it.
Title: Re: Approaching Logos Post by: youhn on September 23, 2014, 09:29:45 PM Thank you both of you.
I'd like to think that the burning ship has more variety than the mset. But what does variety mean, compared to the infinite properties? How to measure variety .. variety-density or something? The way you can morph shapes along the way zooming down is very similair. But the bs seems to have very different corners/areas. Title: Re: Approaching Logos Post by: Kalles Fraktaler on September 23, 2014, 09:39:15 PM Whenever one get saturated on the m-set, the burning ship feels interesting. And when one get saturated on b-s, the m-set feels interesting again. And so it keep going, forever perhaps? ;)
Nice to see that you use rotation btw O0 Title: Re: Approaching Logos Post by: cKleinhuis on September 23, 2014, 10:29:28 PM btw, wouldnt it be easy to include the variants of the burning ship ?! e.g. just absolute value of y ?!
and what is meant by "logos" ?!?!?!? ??? Title: Re: Approaching Logos Post by: youhn on September 23, 2014, 11:08:27 PM Latin for word, as in ... could be a (brand) name or any other word. BOOB maybe ? :evil1: |
