FLAME FRACTALS
All fractals where generated, animated and rendered using the free JWildfire software.

All fractal meshes where generated using JWildfire and were refined and smoothed using the free MeshLab software.

3D-RENDERING
Most of the 3D-rendering was done using LightWave, some stills were created using Bryce.

I like it, looks great and the Kausemus music fitted well. Video demonstrates the great potential of Jwildfire:)

Interesting idea and definitely useful for 3d printing, but if not for 3d printing, I don't like it. The ghost-like appearance of flames is what I've always liked about them and the buddhabrot for example.

I agree, most of the time I also prefer them (and in fact, my recent renders are "classic" ones, e.g.: http://thargor6.deviantart.com/art/Organic-667729401 ).
Turning them into meshes allows to use any kind of fancy material/shader (of your favourite 3d package), which could lead to even more cool "ghost" appearance - I should really try this next when I find the time :-)
