Title: Burning Ship 1e360
Post by: stardust4ever on September 12, 2014, 08:29:37 AM
Just showing off some high detail in the Burning Ship fractal using a custom palette I originally created for FX. I take a casual stroll, randomly zooming into areas with emphasis on detail. Zooming into the top half above the centroid will increase detail while zooming into the bottom half eliminates it. This is why there are no minis beneath the surface... :surf:

Once again, just like my SandStone video, Youtube barfs on it. Click the Mega link for high quality 540p download:

5 days rendered in 1920x1080 frames. 1280p didn't look right (too much noisy pixellation near the boarders) so I halved the native resolution to 540p. Still looks good even on HD monitor. In hindsight, I should have rendered 2560x1440 frames and given it a few days longer, but oh well...

Next video I make I will try to experiment a bit with wave colors. I believe a triple of sexy primes (p, p+6, p+12) for b,s,h values would hit the sweet spot as far as colors go...
