(It has been successfully tested with recent Chrome (preferably) and Firefox browsers on WinXP.) The animation looked great. I'm actually also just implementing my own flame patch based Dr. Lawlor's work and found your post when I thought I would search the forum to see if I could find any more info or tips.
We don't get quite the quality with this method but the render speed is unbeatable.
