This is a 3D Mandelbrot set image, converted to a kaleidoscope in Photoshop.

The original 3D fractal was created with FractalWorks (http://web.mac.com/dchampney/Site/FractalWorks.html), a free, high performance fractal renderer for Macintosh computers.

Fractal type:   mandelbrot
Maximum iterations:   10000
Center Point (real, imaginary):   -0.076596,   0.64996 i
Plot Width (real):   0.00113

Enjoy,

Duncan C

Computer wallpaper, or actual wallpaper that is glued to a wall?

Whether wrapping paper, wall paper, printed on 12x12 ceramic tiles, etc....
I can see this image used in many ways.

Very nice !!!    :)
