While the article is new subblue's Fabrege fractals have been around a while and undoubtedly exhibit some of the finest coloring and rendering schemes ever. While Frax is a lot of fun and brings the Mandelbrot and Julia to everyone with simple intuitive hand movements on the ipad/iphone, I've nearly begged him to make his 3D fractal renderer available on full blown macs.......and still hope that they someday will
