I haven got much to say yet, so instead I would like to thank the developers of Mandelbulb 3D. My first impressions are that it is easy to use, well optimized, and has many useful features. It even has documentation/help files (which is necessary, but often neglected). Ofcourse I still have some questions, but will post them elsewhere, if I can't answer them myself.
