Title: Batch render for Mandelbulb 3D?
Post by: audre on April 21, 2014, 04:51:52 AM
First off, thank you everyone involved in the creation of all the great fractal programs! And everyone who steps in to help support the users :)

I can't seem to find any docs on how to batch render a bunch of fractal/parameter files with Mandelbulb 3d?

I've done a search here, and out on the net... only get results for running Mandelbulber from the command line.

If the information is in this forum, I did not find it, sorry! I've looked.

Any help much appreciated.

There is no batch render mode as such that I am aware of, however; I have used the Animation Mode for this in the past.

Just set it to 0 frames between keyframes and put each file as a keyframe.

It works well, but I think the limitation of varying image sizes can become a bother.

I know it's been requested before, so maybe a future version will have this feature.

Hope that helps.

Thank you for the answer.

What I was wanting to do is generate small 'thumbs' of everything in my History because it's largely hit or miss finding some particular tweak I ran across but moved past without saving the image file on.

So probably will need to wait for the command line update LOL.
