Title: Spring is coming! Post by: SeryZone on April 10, 2014, 09:56:29 PM I believe for numbers magic! Number 7 - is luck!
Dinkydau, if you read this message - thank you for showing evolution! This is version of your discovered place (SSSSSSSurvival), but zoomed into other Julia place. Good luck to you! So, spring is coming! No, deepest interesting location is 1.88e811, that you can look here: http://youtu.be/O4RkfwC5kdM This is my "Sunnny" image. What about you? :dink: Title: Re: Spring is coming! Post by: Dinkydau on April 11, 2014, 01:01:39 AM Fantastic! I love it. I'm so glad you have been able to understand the zoom method and you did something creative with it.
I think this location has potential to look a lot better with different (less saturated) colors, but that may be just my personal taste. Title: Re: Spring is coming! Post by: Kalles Fraktaler on April 11, 2014, 01:26:12 AM Yes, awesome, I love it too! More of this please, other shapes! We can learn how to restrain the Mandelbrot set, sculpture it to desired shapes.
That would be really cool, and I think we can be more skilled by more practice to get a better sense how the zoom path affects the shapes. Title: Re: Spring is coming! Post by: SeryZone on April 11, 2014, 07:13:16 AM Thank you very much, cyber-friends for support my work. So, I tried to make less-saturated colors, but ItE (logarithmic thought) and my desighn abilites. So, I explore now very deep location (quarks), that I saw when I dream.
We should promote this more and more, because M-Set is infinity and interesting... So, at the school I make project - write book about M-Set. So, for morphing Julia I make big division... Started by a tutorial video from some asian guy ... I'll try to look it up. It was really basic, but a little education aswell. <addition> Was referring to : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=riLFpb-PcLs (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=riLFpb-PcLs) and http://www.miqel.com/fractals_math_patterns/mandelbrot_fractal_guide.html (http://www.miqel.com/fractals_math_patterns/mandelbrot_fractal_guide.html) aswell. </addition> Title: Re: Spring is coming! Post by: SeryZone on April 12, 2014, 11:58:51 AM Duh... I seen it. But I write... Book about Mandelbrot Set (my science work).

A lot is possible, but even with extra speed from perturbation, a very big obstacle is still the time it takes to calculate reference points. Even though it's now possible to make very extreme renders in a day, while they would normally take more than half a year, when it comes to exploring, to me it feels like we haven't advanced that much. The last stage of evolution that I rendered with mandel machine took something like 6 hours, but the way there took many days. That was mostly just time spent waiting for references. That would be really cool, and I think we can be more skilled by more practice to get a better sense how the zoom path affects the shapes. Title: Re: Spring is coming! Post by: cKleinhuis on April 12, 2014, 11:51:27 PM people, mandelbrots will always exceed the calculation limit, you are just to greedy for the depth ;) i am thinking about some kind of database, perhaps the programmers and implementors of the algorithm might be able to elaborate, might it be that reference points are located at roots of the mset ? in the nth iteration ? perhaps it could lead to a massive database of special choosen reference points that can be downloaded, the mset is infinitely large, so, no matter how fast the machine is, every computer will come to its end when calculating such deep zooms reference points are obviously mirrored, so the database should just need to store the upper half of the mset, but nevertheless, its an incredible amount of data ... |
