I'm jealous. How do you make your videos look so real?!! Title: Re: Embryonic Development Post by: brasnacte on February 01, 2014, 09:04:23 PM How do you make your videos look so real?!! I don't mind sharing that at all! First is the animation stage of course - but that is more of a taste issue. Then I render the animation in about 1000 - to 1600 frames, in a 2048x1024 resolution. with X2 anti-aliasing Including Z-depth - I'm NOT rendering with DOF. Then I use After Effects to process. I crop the image to 1920x810 and use the extra space for some hand-held camera motion and also to get rid of the ugly Ambient Occlusion artifacts at the edges of the screen. Also I slow down the video using motion estimation, and timeramp it to let the important cues happen on music. i use Frischluft plugin for AE to add the DOF effect using the Z-depth. It produces nice Bokeh-effects that you can't get otherwise. I add a little bit more lensing artifacts like small out of focus droplets on the lens that only light up in front of something bright. Some vignetting, chromatic aberration and color correction. That's it! |
