Title: urgent issue with depth of field Post by: taurus on January 28, 2014, 12:19:10 AM I recently set up an animation with post dof in cpu mode (as opencl ALLWAYS uses mc dof, at least when automatic dof is enabled :fiery:). Everything went ok, until I tried to start the first snippet of the (keyframe-) animation. Estimated time for the first (or any other) frame: around 195 h! That's not funny! I guess in animation mode even the cpu renderer uses mc dof without leaving a choice to me. I'd be grateful, to have a choice, which sort of dof will be used - in cpu or in opencl mode. Best would be a choice in both renderers...

In new version there will be two modes for rendering DOF with OpenCL. One will be MC and second will be as old post effect (but rendered on GPU - really fast). SSAO will be also rendered with GPU.
