Title: Mandelbox Dissolve Post by: erstwhile on November 25, 2013, 04:47:47 PM http://www.youtube.com/v/r3GA8X_aWqw I did this video in Mandelbulber 1.19 using the OpenCL rendering engine - it's a Mandelbox dissolving as the scale moves from -1 to -2 and the folding parameters move to 0. Since I can't do volumetric lighting with Mandelbulber OpenCL on my Windows Box (crashes at any decent image size) and the algorithm gets glichy on close-up zooms I've been experimenting with animations where the camera stays still at a distance and the whole fractal evolves through different transitions. Original soundtrack made with SuperCollider. Frames were animated using ffmpeg, and then I added a title card and soundtrack in Premiere. |
