Title: creating Mandelbrot terrains
Post by: Andrea81 on November 22, 2013, 02:22:22 PM
I have found a picture from an interesting fractal with Mandelbulb 3D:

Does someone have an idea, how to create those types?

I think it works with the HeightmapIFS, but when I use a fractal picture, it is multiple times to see... Ore should I use a bigger map size for this?

You could message them and I'm sure they would be glad to explain how it was created.

I have used Heightmaps2 and a Xaos Fractal.
