Besides matching together pairs of quadratic Julia sets (even two disconnected ones!) Matchmaker can also fuse the quadratic Mandelbrot with a Julia set, here a connected Elephant Valley one with an attractor period in the teens. The basin structure of this Julia set takes the place of the empty void outside the normal Mandelbrot set, so this void is pinched into whorls of Julia basin petals and the Mandelbrot filaments reach into the unstable periodic points where these petals meet.
