Thanks for introducing Max Ernst  to me. Compelling and disturbing his The Robing of the Bride. Always amazes me that way back then, surrealism existed.

By the way, I stumbled on this the other day. This guys name is similar to yours, but I guess it's just that old "similar-but-not-the-same" Parallel Universe stuff. Still uncanny though.

When the Whalebone Parliament,
with their underwater kind of remembrance,
sinks,
to the depths of the ocean,
where all hopes sank.

We applaud
"This drowns everything yet!"

Beat Poet, Kraftwerd" Parallel Universe UID 768-576 (Translated from Ancient Geek) ;D

Thank you mclarekin  you didn't know Max Ernst?  :o

And that Kraftwerd person should be accused of double plagiarism!  :fiery: :fiery:
(to the depths of the ocean... where all hopes sank) Was stolen by me from Ian Curtis...  O0

Johan.   Kraftwerd, plagiarism!? Never. He was around some 2000 years ago at the height on the Ancient Geek Civilisation. Always amazes me that way back then, Beat Poetry existed, but I guess that's parallel universes for you. I do suspect Ian Curtis may have spent some time holidaying in Parallel Universe UID 768-576 when he was a boy.

As for myself, my mother always said, "If you can not say something unique then don't say anything at all." Hence, I spent most of my childhood trying to invent new ways of saying "please feed me", 3 times a day, 365 days a year. There were many hungry nights.

Next you'll be telling me Ian Curtis wrote the Kraftwerd Beat poem that starts:

 Behold,
 the burden of intellect,
nesting within the tree of absolute ignorance,
amongst the 13th Season Of Cathedral Woods

Behold and be enlightened.  ;D

As for Max Ernst, until recently they didn't teach art in New Zealand schools. When I was a lad, all we learnt was sheep shearing, cow milking, tying a secure bungy jump knot and how to build your own Hobbit hole. Now at last, I am being enlightened, thanks to FractalForums.Com. ;D :) :embarrass:

And of corse not everyone knows about all the original Surrealists, it was just odd in my small world, and I am honored to enlight you with his worlds! On the other hand, I can't even milk a cow!!!

Cheers Mate! ;)
