Title: Installed lots of plugins and now Fractal eXtreme crashes

I've got quite a few plugins, mostly ones I've made myself (where one plugin has a number, up to 16 in one example of different fractal types in it) and ones provided by panzerboy.

The trouble is, when I have them all in the plugins folder together, I experience random crashes when closing the new fractal dialog.

I thought it was only one of my plugins that was causing it, but when I renamed all other plugins (to .dll.old) except that one it was fine, then I started reintroducing the other plugins then it was crashing, then I renamed most of them again and it was still crashing.

I'm no further forward, so I wanted to ask if anyone else has experienced similar problems?

I'm using Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 Express edition to generate 64-bit plugins, something which we were all led to believe was impossible, so maybe it's this 'hack' that is causing issues, but I don't understand how many of my plugins are fine if this was the case.

The .zip file archive I have linked to previously in this category contains all my self made plugins. Could some of you download them and see if you experience any problems.

Fractal extreme is working okay for me
I think I've kept up-to-date with your plugins.
If there is one thar isnt listed below let me know & I'll try it/them out.

Hi Panzerboy

I sneaked another dll into the zip file(s) last time I updated them: ModifiedMandel.dll

You don't have that one in the list, so if you could download the file again and try that file we might find out that this is the culprit.

I wonder if it does cause your machine to crash, if you still have the ability to compile the plugins, could I PM you a link to the source (I'll zip it up) so you could try to compile it?

Oops! My reply from last night doesnt seem to be showing.

I downloaded the latest zip and had problems with closing the initial new fractal dialog without selecting a fractal.
Removing all your dlls and adding them 1 by 1 showed the problem happened with the ModifiedMandelbrot and Simon051 dlls.
But then after adding these two dlls back into the directory I've had no further problems.

By all means PM me with the location of the source zips.
Couldn't hurt to give them a compile.

That's what is making it a bit odd.

It would appear to be a random event as it can't be reliably reproduced.

Will PM you a link to the source files (after I've zipped them and uploaded them to my server).

After receiving a reply to my private message to panzerboy I have copied the freshly compiled dll files into my plugins directory and thankfully there have been no crashes so far (fingers crossed).

It will give me a chance to explore some of my old fractals that were crashing before.
