Thanks for sharing the formula; it is almost identical to MandyCousin, so it's named MandyCousin3 :dink:

 :D well I found this page http://mysticfractal.com/cquats.html

There is a formula, so I "copied" it in Mandelbulb3D. It worked, and I was able to render this Julia seed.

That was also cited in his pages... :D

I see now, your posting threw me off because it was under the "Mystic Fractal Programs (http://www.fractalforums.com/index.php?board=146.0)" board, in particular, the Macintosh Fractal Software (http://www.fractalforums.com/index.php?board=114.0).

Since Mandelbulb3D is neither a MAC application, nor one of the many programs that Terry Gintz makes available from his "Mystic Fractal" web site, would not this Topic be better posted in the appropriate area??

And if you wish to see several examples of Complexified Quaternions, I have posted many in the following sub-Gallery location:

Wow interesting; did you include also j-seed value? :)

(I moved the topic now :embarrass: )

The majority are Julia versions of the Complexified Quaternion, and there are also some Hypernions.     :D

But I did not give any of the parameter values or coordinates, if that is what you are asking about.  Though I could produce most of that information if there is one or more which interests you.
