Title: Another newb saying hello! (free music included!) Post by: Kausemus on September 30, 2013, 02:23:57 AM Hello!
I have a confession to make. I love doing fractal animations with Mandelbulb 3D. I came to these forums because I want to learn more and lurk in the dark corners of this fine forum. Here's a random picture I made: https://fbcdn-sphotos-b-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/1263036_10151844337293374_637281253_o.jpg Oh actually it wasn't that little so I'm not gonna {img} it. :E In return, as a little gift, I'll give you this music as "free to use" http://kausemus.bandcamp.com/ . It's a link to an "experimental dark ambient jazz"-project of mine. There are some good, mysterious ambient tunes to fill those empty fractal videos you might like to upload somewhere or something. The older albums are more ambient but there are some fine tracks in the new album as well. But if you do use my music I'd like a lot if you could name the artist and the name of the song with some tiny font in some corner. Thanks and it's nice to "be here". ^-^ (http://o.scdn.co/300/ca33e0e8f69f7068478cef3f2eb82976eaab6d4c) Carry on.. Title: Re: Another newb saying hello! (free music included!) Post by: mclarekin on September 30, 2013, 10:38:41 AM Hello and welcome Kausemus. I have just enjoyed listening to 1 hour of Sublimaatio and see the potential of your music to soundtrack fractal animation. I am sure people will be interested. :) :)
Title: Re: Another newb saying hello! (free music included!) Post by: Kausemus on September 30, 2013, 07:26:29 PM Thanks! I'll probably make a post about this subject to some other part of the forum. : )
ps. The end half of Sublimaatio might be a bit too dark for many fractal viewers but I appreciate that you took your time to listen. Title: Re: Another newb saying hello! (free music included!) Greetings, and welcome to this particular forum !!! :D Where are these "fractal animations" that you love doing?? And do you have any fractal images as well?? It is nice that you are offering the music for others to use, but this sounds more like an advertisement for your own musical pursuits, or for others to promote it for you. Title: Re: Another newb saying hello! (free music included!) Post by: Kausemus on October 04, 2013, 03:16:30 AM I thought I posted a link to one of my fractal images. More proof aye? Ok:

I could care less about any so called "proof", because this last posting proves nothing to me. :tease: As to you accusing me of demanding proof, all I can assume is that English is not your primary language and that you definitely show signs of not clearly understanding the language. That is because all I did was ask a couple of questions, as to where the "fractal animations" were and if you had any fractal images. There were no demands made!!! Your main post was more about promoting your own music, which is definitely not fractal music. Apparently you have gotten upset that somebody caught you at your blatant advertising. :D Title: Re: Another newb saying hello! (free music included!) Post by: 0Encrypted0 on October 04, 2013, 11:20:27 AM I like the first half of "0700571 Fractal_26" the best. (http://youtu.be/_VedkrtBIUI (http://youtu.be/_VedkrtBIUI))
Are your familiar with mauxuam (http://mauxuam.deviantart.com/) and zzzzra (http://zzzzra.deviantart.com/), two other musicians with fractal interests. They both have SoundCloud accounts. Title: Re: Another newb saying hello! (free music included!) Post by: Kausemus on October 04, 2013, 02:16:52 PM HAaa! I'm glad you like it. But as I said, they are a bit "raw" at this moment. I haven't yet had the time to be social. Mostly just lurking and collecting information but I'm sure I will clash to them at some point when I start posting more. Still.. thanks for the info! :)
Title: Re: Another newb saying hello! (free music included!) Post by: thargor6 on October 07, 2013, 01:39:42 AM Nice stuff, I like both your fractals (especially the "raw" look) and your music. Would be glad to use some of your tunes in one of my next fractal videos, but currently cant tell when I will find the time :-)
Title: Re: Another newb saying hello! (free music included!) Post by: Sockratease on October 07, 2013, 06:13:36 PM Hello and welcome to the forums O0
Very generous of you to offer music for free use! Don't let Nahee Enterprises put you off. Paul can be a bit brusque (as can I, and most people), but he is really a nice guy and very knowledgeable about all things fractal. If you were demanding credits for use of your music, he may have a point, but merely asking is not spamming as the option exists to say no. I'm sure everybody knows better than to claim it as their own, as that would be just wrong - but what about using it as a starting point to make new music (via midi encoding and variations, etc.)? Enjoy the site and feel free to post your creations as you please. Title: Re: Another newb saying hello! (free music included!) Post by: Kausemus on October 22, 2013, 04:56:56 AM Yea it's ok to also edit my music but of course I'd like to hear the final product then. Fastest way to contact me is probably via facebook. I actually found a person who is interested in having my animations for his music video so now I'm rendering 24/7 and mostly making organic / gore fractals with Mandelbulb 3D. My interests towards fragmentarium have started to grow as well.. I'll most likely post those animations when they are in good shape. And thanks for the warm welcome and comments! |
