Title: Render size vs. Animation size?
Post by: Weber on September 19, 2013, 10:48:02 PM
Alright I've been wanting to find this out for a while now.  When in the animation window I set the animation size to 1280x720, but when it starts to render the images in the main window, the size changes to 3840x2160?  Why does it do that and not render what I specified?  The reason I ask is because it takes twice as long to render my animation this way. :hmh:

I just tried to reproduce this, and was unable to do so.

It renders at whatever resolution I set in the animation window.

Can you give any more information?

Are the sizes set the same in both the main window and the animation window  (I ask despite testing with both identical and different - it rendered to the size set in the animation window regardless).

What version of MB3D are you using?

Did you try playing with the the scale or viewing options to see if that effects anything?
Very odd issue.  Can't say I ever ran into it or am able to reproduce it.

It shouldn't matter, but are you running under Windows, or linux/mac with WINE/other emulator?

Very odd...   :spsad:

Well what i did to fix it was to first send it it to the main window, adjust the size and then send it back to the animation window which worked.  What I'm thinking now, is that when i saved the animation in the first place, the main window was already set to that resolution.  Like you, I also just tried to reproduce it without making any changes to the main window render sizes and it works as it should.   :)
