Exploring the wealth of shapes from Quasz - using a variety of formulas. Your collection is growing by leaps and bounds!!! Including the addition of photos and linens with fractal prints. :D I think I recognize one of those photo prints, the one inside of the lower right-hand box. Looks like "Pieces 01 (http://www.fractalforums.com/mystic-fractal-programs-gallery-b167/pieces-01-through-03/)". Really enjoyed making this image. Ahh! yes I did include your chess piece couldn't resist. I don't remember which formula I used but the white quaternion shape I find particularly intriguing the form turns in on itself and reminds me very much of the outer lip on a conch shell. I think I will start on a new scene and collection now, if you have any Quasz parameter files for interesting shapes you are willing to share I will build them in. I have seen some things, a couple of times before, that were very similar to your "white quaternion shape". Just never saved them when I was doing the renderings. As to QuaSZ (http://www.mysticfractal.com/) parameter files, I have quite a few of them, definitely over 200. Just not sure which ones would fit into the category of "interesting shapes". I like this one a lot. http://www.nahee.com/Fractals/QuaSZ/Images/Formula-k3_CQJ.jpg Thanks for the software link there are a few there programs that I wasn't aware of I will try out some of the trial versions. You can see another version of it at the following location: http://www.fractalforums.com/mystic-fractal-programs-gallery-b167/formula-k3_cqj/ (http://www.fractalforums.com/mystic-fractal-programs-gallery-b167/formula-k3_cqj/) Thanks for the software link there are a few there programs that I wasn't aware of I will try out some of the trial versions. Yes, there are quite a few, both for Windows and Mac, and in 32-bit or 64-bit versions. --- That formula creates lovely shapes http://www.deviantart.com/art/K3-glassy-401819821 Title: Re: box of quaternions-edit Post by: Nahee_Enterprises on September 22, 2013, 08:21:56 AM Great I'll check out that particular formula --- That formula creates lovely shapes http://www.deviantart.com/art/K3-glassy-401819821 (http://www.deviantart.com/art/K3-glassy-401819821) Yes, that particular formula has a lot of potential. :D |
