This fractal type is based on quadruptwo from fractint, again it has had an extra complex parameter added so that it can be used in the Mandelbrot and Julia algorithms.

The attempt to produce a multi-orbit version of the quadruptwo fractal did not produce good results (it may be possible I just don't yet know the best settings), instead of plotting the orbits an ordinary Julia was produced with no bailout and coloured using an inner colouring method commonly used for ducky type fractals. The result was remarkably similar to the orbit plotted by xfractint. I will also be adding the facility to plot single orbit fractals in Saturn and Titan,doing so require much more work than simply adding new formulae. |
