the coder was here recently, and he stated that he is using the fast SuperFractalThing as well
but this is no mandelbrot ?

coloring algorithm have improved while you where absent, look for "MultiWaveColoring Algorithm"
here in the forums, developed by pauldelbrot and available as ultrafractal coloring method,
that algorithm uses various sine wave mapped over eachother to produce a final color, which
is extraordinary usefull for coloring very deep zoom locations!!!

and while i am at it, consider giving your images reasonable names, we have a gallery posting
limit of one image per day per user, hosting it else where is perfectly fine, ever thought about
using the gallery for posting ? to receive ratings or comments ?

To each his own, everybody likes different things.  And since I like what was created, I could care less what you think about it.   :D


All of my images do have names, and they are "reasonable" to me.  If you wish to go around monitoring the names people use for their images, then go ahead with such Nazi tactics!!!  But I would think you have enough to do without adding one more restrictive measure to the way this forum is being controlled.     :angry:  


Since these images are not really on the FractalForums server (they are on my website), and are nothing more than a simple URL link, they take up considerably less space than your comments.  In fact, the total of all five of my recent image postings take up less space than your one single lengthy reply comment to just one of my image postings.  So please explain to me, in a logical manner (if you can), why there should be a limit on URL type image postings, when people are making unlimited text postings that are much more lengthy, as far as space goes??

And as to posting in the main Image Gallery, I will never post any of my images in that gallery.  If somebody wishes to comment, they do not need a gallery for that, as you have just proven.  And I do not need to have my images rated by whomever decides to put some numerical value on what I post!!!     :angry:

Besides, even though these images are in a sub-Board that is titled "Gallery", they have nothing to do with the main Image Gallery that people were complaining about too many postings within.  Because with me not using the main gallery, and posting in a sub-Board gallery, I do not cause other peoples images to be knocked off of the limited amount that gets displayed over there.
