The evolutionary revolutionary design magnifies the strength of wind gusts passing thru the annulus aiding in the dispersion of spore. I wish I had thought of that!

What happens when the wind is blowing from the opposite direction??    :dink:

Paul, the fractal fungi fields on Mars are expansive, so no matter which way the wind blows there will always be millions facing in the right direction.

I do strongly suspect these clever sentient fungi will  evolve swivel bases in the near future. :) :) :)
