Post by: Frank on August 25, 2013, 03:03:29 AM
I lurk.  Don't delete my account!

I do too. It's useful to have an account to post the odd message though.

EDIT: To clarify I am also posting to avoid deletion.

anyone with more than one posting will not get deleted, i will stop the skript
in about a month or so, by that time the user-base should be cleaned of inactive
emails, it is quite terrifiyng, i am sorry for it, but i felt the need to clear out the
user base!

It's not clear, do we need to post twice to avoid being deleted?

Me too! But, I think it was nice to get the email. I hadn't been in the fractal forums for a while, nor have I been playing with Mandelbulb 3D or Apophysis lately. Too much home life stuff.  :) I love that Mandelbulb program, so I'm trying to play with the newest version a bit. Still qualifying as a major newb around here, even though I signed up what - a year or so ago already? Can't believe it's been that long!  :o

I didn't receive any emails so I guess I'm ok...

I didn't receive any emails so I guess I'm ok...

But then again, I have been in the Forum since the beginning, have over 1,543 postings (several in the most viewed category), and still received a message about being removed.

Threats and scare tactics sent out to who knows who all, just to remove a few Logon entries out of a database (which hardly takes up any room in the long run, compared to everything else that makes up this forum), seems to be a bad way to manage things in my opinion.  There are much more pressing issues that should be resolved before doing something like this.   :sad1:
