Hello to everyone at Fractal Forums! For the past year, or so, I've been looking for a 3D fractal generator app to install on my Mac Tiger 10.4.11 and have had no luck in finding anything. Is there any such app out there? I've looked into Mandelbulber and even "older versions" of Mandelbulber with no luck. Mandelbox too. If there is anything out there, please let me know! Thank you !  :beer:

Hi, did you try with these two?

but I don't recommend them if you have macports installed on your mac.

If you would have Xcode and macports installed, you can build yourself your copy of mandelbulber, I can help you.

To visual.bermarte. Thank you for the response. I downloaded the intel version, from one of the 2 links you sent me, because I have intel. I don't know where to begin with the folder I have now downloaded. Do I have to "build" this application? Is this complicated? I am very new to this. Thank you. Tony .

You should double click on install file, and enter your password.
when installation is done you can open terminal, type mandelbulber and press enter key.
