Title: Greetings from a longtime fractal fan Post by: rhutson on August 19, 2013, 06:13:39 AM Hello,
My name is Randy Hutson. I've very excited to find this forum. I did a lot of "research" with the Fractint program in the mid 1990s. I made some interesting discoveries, but then I moved on to other things and forgot to share. That's why I am here. Greetings, and welcome to this particular forum !!! :D Thought I was aware of most people that did a lot of work with FractInt (http://www.Nahee.com/spanky/www/fractint/fractint.html), but could not place your name amongst them. Do not remember if you were (or still are) on the FractInt Discussion List (http://mailman.xmission.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/fractint), but a quick search of my records showed nothing there. And I am surprised, based upon your recent postings in the A Different View of the Mandelbrot Set (http://www.fractalforums.com/new-theories-and-research/a-different-view-of-the-mandelbrot-set/msg64702/#msg64702) topic. :o Do you have several unique formula files which you have created?? And would you be willing to share them?? I am always looking for more to add to the ORGFORM Collection (http://www.Nahee.com/PNL/OrgForm.html). |
